Eureka! pivots - Assessing the impact of COVID-19 on the Plumbing and Heating Sector
Eureka! has engaged with over 2,000 Plumbing & Heating business owners during lockdown to measure the true impact of COVID-19 on the sector. Following our initial study in April, our most recent consultation highlights the barriers that installers are facing and charts what the 'Road to Recovery' might look like for the industry. In short, you've found the right place for getting the definitive, real-time picture of the bathroom and home improvement market from an installer perspective.
These were entirely self funded studies, working with leading brands and representative bodies to help position the study and increase our survey reach in the sector.
Chris Yates at CORGI Services comments “This has been a great initiative from Eureka! Research to check the pulse of the plumbing, heating and bathroom sector which has generated a fantastic response. We are delighted to have supported it”
Joe Sharp at Installer Magazine comments “Once again, the guys at Eureka! have condensed loads of valuable information about installers – it’s timely, significant and insightful”
John Newcomb, Chief Executive Officer, Builders Merchants Federation says: “With prolonged enforced closures and delays in the materials supply chain it is more important than ever that we understand how our trade customers are coping and adapting as they return to work. Thus, we are supporting Eureka! Research in their unique initiative to understand the changing landscape in Plumbing & Heating."
Tim Sainty, CIPHE Membership Director says “It is essential that we track the industry response to the changing environment. Policy makers may advise us that the country moves from one threat level to another but how people are actually behaving, issues encountered and its changing impact on the economy can only truly be reported and acted upon by exercises such as this.”
