Supporting the BMA’s thought leadership in the bathroom sector

by | 11/05/2023

We are very pleased to announce a new research study in partnership with the Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA). This important study further solidifies our relationship and together we will be undertaking a deep dive into the inner workings of our favourite research audience, bathroom installers!

Firstly, in partnership with BMA members, a detailed consultation was undertaken to ensure the most appropriate and useful research topics were included in the survey. The focus includes homeowner influence, purchasing preferences and water saving.

Research fieldwork is being undertaken during April/ May and in partnership with members and external partners such as PlumbApp, CIPHE, Installer Magazine and BIKBBI. A comprehensive and enticing prize fund worth over £6,000 is offered to maximise engagement. This includes a top prize of a full bathroom including product from Ideal Standard, Methven, JJO and Roman. There are also tools and trade vouchers available.

The result will be a thorough analysis and examination of the sector with in-depth results disseminated directly with members. We look forward to deepening our ties with the BMA and continuing to support this sector and those who operate within in it. This is further demonstrated by being invited to co-present the survey results in the new Bathroom Zone at this year’s Installer Show at the NEC.

“We are proud to be working in partnership with the BMA and widening our reach within this sector. The home improvement sector is where we like to focus our work and its uplifting that the BMA recognises our status within this area and has selected us to partner in this important study for them and their members. As a micro business ourselves, we like nothing more than consulting with the life blood of the sector and further understanding the under researched bathroom installer”.

The Bathroom Manufacturers Association is a key stakeholder in the sector. It acts as an information highway between Industry, Government and the consumer on all issues that affect the bathroom business in the UK.
