Online surveys
Cost effective and time efficient
More than just an online survey
Online quantitative research has transformed how organisations gather insight in the 21st century. Faster and more cost-effective than traditional approaches, it also makes it possible to show and capture rich media such as audio and video. As a result, online methods have overtaken face-to-face and telephone research across many sectors.
We specialise in designing high-quality online surveys and digital research solutions tailored to your target audiences and objectives. Online surveys are fully optimised for all devices, providing fast, detailed, immediate insight. Gamified features such as rewards and personalisation can also make surveys more engaging and can boost attention, response rates and the depth of insight extracted.
Effective campaigns
As well as a well-worded questionnaire, there are many other component parts to consider in an effective online campaign. We need to think about the duration of the survey, what incentivisation works best, the email invitation, potential social routes to gain more traction and of course confidentiality issues (including GDPR compliance). We can help in all of these regards.
Qualitative findings
Online market research is often used in tandem with qualitative research. This might be a precursor to help design segments for example or afterwards, to delve more deeply into some of the qualitative findings and put ‘a number on the findings’. All of our online surveys are completely custom-built, incorporating imagery, video etc to meet your needs. Surveys can be fully branded to meet a client’s brand guidelines as required.
Quantitative research
Our clients are using online quantitative research for usage and attitudes surveys, brand health surveys, advertising/ creative testing and awareness, market scoping and sizing, segmenting their market into personas or statistically robust segments and assessing attitudes to new concepts or ideas.

The Eureka! approach
Once the project objectives and target audiences have been agreed, we progress through these key stages.
Questionnaire design
We will develop a first draft of the survey following our own desk research and immersion into the topic. This will typically be an editable version that can be shared with your colleagues and we will then work together to develop a final version that fits the bill.
Programming and testing
Over to us to do the hard yards programming the script. Dependent upon complexity and script requirements we have a number of scripting tools available to us so we can meet all your requirements, no matter how complex. Testing is crucial, we spend many hours refining the script to ensure it is fit for purpose and represents your brand in the best possible way.
Fieldwork
At this stage a variety of routes are possible. We could be using a client database and mailing it ourselves, or more commonly now (post GDPR), the client could be sending the survey out to their own database or with a partner. Alternatively, we could be working with a partner data holder to manage and deliver fieldwork. We will also work with you on invitation emails, incentives, timings etc.
Analysis
Deep down we are data geeks at Eureka! and we love checking over the raw data to make sure everything is as intended. Our software also collects additional data such as duration, device, and time which allow us to drive out additional behavioural insights about your customers. This can help you think about future digital campaigns that are even more fit for purpose.
Reporting
We will develop a report, varying from a top-line summary to a fully detailed output (dependent on client requirements). Check out free examples of our house-style here. Of course a presentation either in person or virtually is offered.
