Online qualitative research training

April 7, 2017

As part of our ongoing quest to push research boundaries for our clients, Eureka! have developed a unique masterclass focused specifically around online qualitative research techniques.  The one-day training session covers both established and emerging methodologies including virtual venues, ethnographic diaries, bulletin boards, game-based software and instant messaging apps.  It is suitable for both agency and client-side researchers.

One of our directors recently delivered this training to a class of 10 researchers, both junior and senior staff.  We believe the training was a hit because it covers both the theoretical frameworks underpinning the techniques alongside hands-on practical sessions to help build confidence amongst those who are perhaps more comfortable with traditional qualitative methods.

But don’t just take it from us, here are just a few quotes from our post-training feedback:

  • “It was refreshing to see someone come into the organisation with a genuine interest and respect for this aspect of research.  It has re-energised the passion for the qual work that we do!”

  • “I think you did an excellent job and everyone learned a lot and enjoyed themselves.  You also did a wonderful job navigating the strong personalities in the room and including the quieter people.”

  • “The practical sessions (such as the) WhatsApp focus group were really useful.”

Please get in touch if you would like to discuss how our qualitative training packages may be of benefit to your organisation.
